Moss in the lawn is the result of an environment's specific conditions.
Moss grows in areas that are shady, moist and that have poor drainage capabilities. Moss in the lawn can also grow if the lawn is watered systematically at inappropriate times. Most times it is a combination of factors that encourage lawn moss propagation.
The lawn can be sprayed to get rid of the moss. However, to deter moss recurrence changes should be made to the lawn surroundings so that the immediate environment does not encourage moss growth.
The changes to the environment should be made so that the lawn area gets more circulating air , more sun and that the lawn surface has proper drainage.
If the environmental conditions are not changed, then occasional re-spraying may be necessary.
Our service provides a one visit service call to spray for moss to effectively control it.
If moss vegetation is severe a second application may be required.
